		<description>I agree with you, being a sandwich generation mom/daughter doesn&#039;t start with an infirmed parent--it starts years before. Enjoy your parent&#039;s, wisdom and input in your life--and the lives of your children. 

My dad died at the age of 78, but my mom lived to 92--and we had a long path that eventually led to Parkinson&#039;s and Alhzimer&#039;s, but we also many years, many trips, and many good times along the way. 

I enjoyed reading parts of your blog. Your family pic is warm and inviting.
