But I'm sure your kids appreciate the relationship they have with you even if you are uncool in their eyes. I really enjoyed reading some of your posts. I'm a new mother to a beautiful girl she is 3 months old. I can understand what you mean about becoming your mom, I use to think that I was going to be the coolest mom in the world, I kinda still think that I will be :). Now that I think about her growing up and wanting to do the things that I wanted to do and my mother telling me no, I understand why she wouldn't let me. There is one thing that I have noticed since becoming a mother I have become closer to my mother, use to maybe a phone call to her every other week, now it is a couple times a week.
